The Lyme Nursery School is owned and directed by
Richard Vernon, a retired school teacher with 25 years experience in high school education. Richard's final ten years in school were employed as Head of Department in one of Staffordshire's largest schools.

Andrea Bard is the registered Person in Charge and has managed The Lyme Nursery School since 1997.

Sabrina Ecclestone
Nursery Supervisor; NNEB; NVQ4 Leadership Management
Undergraduate in Early Years Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies

Sabrina Ecclestone is the Nursery Senior Supervisor and has worked at The Lyme Nursery School since 2000.

Qualifications

The Lyme Nursery School employs professionally qualified nursery nursing staff having gained a range of qualifications – DCE (DNN, NNEB), NVQ3 + BTEC and a wealth of personal experience.

The nursery nursing staff span five decades of age and experience providing a rich and valuable cross section of care and understanding of your child's needs.

Settling in Procedure

Let us get to know your family - Enjoy free taster sessions, prior to starting your child in the Nursery. We find this helps families cope with the initial potential problems with separation.

Room Structure

Our rooms are designed to accommodate small groups, with a range of related activities/education and care structure in each.

Babies 6 weeks - 18 months. Registered 9 babies to 3 staff. Ground floor.
Tiddlers 18 months - 2 years. Registered 8 Tiddlers to 3 staff. Ground floor.
Toddlers 2 years - 3 years. Registered 8 Toddlers to 2 staff. Ground floor.
Pre-School 3 years - 5 years Registered 16 Pre-school to 2 staff. First floor.
